Mark Sanchez was selected in the fifth spot in the first round by the Jets. Many experts have pointed to his personality getting the nod as much as his talent on the playing field for his extraordinary selection.
Were the Jets looking to remake their image in the “Joe Namath” mold again-believing Sanchez could transcend the sport and bring people into the stadium to see their chosen QB.
What do you think-was this a good choice or a miscalculation? Was it worth it to risk so much to bring the Jets back to their 1969 greatness??
I would like to hear your thoughts.
